The 4-star Woodlands Hotel Windermere is set about 15 minutes on foot from the arts theater "Old Laundry Theatre" and within a 14-minute stroll of The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. There is public parking on site and WiFi throughout the property.

The Woodlands Windermere serves full English breakfast in the morning. A lounge bar is available on site. Guests can dine at the restaurant The Log Cabin located only a 5-minute walk away.

The hotel's location next to a lovely little river was a highlight for us, providing a tranquil atmosphere. The cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel overall was impeccable, giving us peace of mind during our stay. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide selection to cater to all tastes, and the staff provided amazing service, always polite and friendly.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The location was perfect, close to everything in a nice area easily accessed within walking distance of a number of local beauty spots. The hotel facilities were great, especially the lounge with the piano. The cleanliness was impeccable and the staff were excellent, welcoming, and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast provided was of a good standard and there was a good selection of options to choose from.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was superb, nestled in the peaceful outskirts of this city, but still within a short 10-minute walk of both Bowness-on-Windermere and Windermere town. Being near the lake was a definite plus, allowing easy access to beautiful views and activities. The hotel staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, providing me with a map of the area and great recommendations on what to see and do. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The staff were welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable stay.
