Set within a 200-metre distance of Merrivale Model Village, the 2-star Nelson Hotel Great Yarmouth features high-speed Internet access in public areas as well as public parking on site. The hotel is within walking distance of many of the attractions including SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth and the historic Wellington Pier.

Drinks and sea views are available at the lounge bar. In addition, Barking Smack offers a variety of British delicacies and lies only a short distance from the property.

This budget accommodation is placed about 40 km from Norwich International airport and a stroll from such cultural venues as The Tolhouse Gaol Museum. Sports fans can also visit Great Yarmouth and Caister Golf club, 10 minutes by car from the Nelson Great Yarmouth, and take their families to Ocean Bay Amusements, which is a 10-minute drive away.

There is Hippodrome Circus a 17-minute stroll away, while Market Gates bus station within walking distance of the property.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel on the seafront. The location was perfect, close to all the local attractions and just a short walk to the town centre. The highlight for me was the beautiful sea view from my room, it was truly breathtaking. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with any situations that may arise. They made me feel right at home. Additionally, the breakfast served was delicious and included in the price. It was a great way to start the day.
It was all superb.
The location was fantastic, right on the sea front and close to all amenities. The hotel facilities were great, with a spacious and warm twin room that had everything I needed, including a comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay welcoming and enjoyable. The breakfast options were good and the hotel even provided a lift that was big enough to accommodate a wheelchair, making it accessible for everyone.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was cosy and comfortable, with everything in perfect working order. The spacious bathroom was a great bonus. The hotel is over 100 years old, so the creaky floorboards and charming noise were expected and added to the overall character. The location was excellent, being right on the seafront and close to all the local attractions. From my room, I had a lovely sea view that was truly memorable. The staff were friendly and helpful, always greeting me with a smile and taking the time to chat about my day. The breakfast was delicious, and I enjoyed sitting by the window, with a superb view of the seafront.
