The staff were exceptional and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location right next to the railway station, between the Royal Mile and Waverley. It's also opposite Princes Street and close to the city centre, making it convenient for exploring.
Nothing, all excellent.
Perfect location for exploring the city on foot, with the Royal Mile right outside the back steps. Exceptional tea, cakes, and biscuits at Forsyth's Teahouse located at the top of the back steps. Good-sized room with top-notch amenities, including easy-to-connect WiFi and TV. Comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, and helpful staff. Opposite the train station, providing easy access to transportation. Lots of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby for city center shopping and sightseeing.
Not obvious to find.
We loved the location of this hotel. It is just around the corner from the Royal Mile Street, making it super easy to reach all the major attractions like Edinburgh Castle and Arthur's Seat. Plus, there are loads of pubs and eateries within walking distance.
Absolutely nothing.
The hotel offered drink vouchers upon arrival, which was a nice gesture. The location was great, within walking distance to key tourist attractions like the Royal Mile and close to Waverley train station. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
Nothing to fault.
We loved the hotel's location, which was extremely close to all the historical places in this vibrant city. It was also conveniently close to the train station, allowing for easy access into the heart of the historic centre. The room was clean and a good size, with a comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. The staff at the reception were universally helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel provided various facilities, including parking and a good breakfast.
Nothing all excellent.
