Courtyard By Marriott Edinburgh Hotel is a great place to stay in New Town, initially built response to the deterioration of the medieval Old Town in the 18th century, 15 minutes' walk from the Leith Princes Street. Located a few minutes drive from Calton Hill, this charming hotel offers a storage for belongings and a restaurant, and comforts such as a snack and drink vending machine, and a lift.

We had a fantastic stay here. The hotel was in a perfect location, just at the edge of the city. It was extremely quiet and comfortable. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and always said hello. The bedroom was great, with a super comfy bed and a nice, modern bathroom. The hotel facilities were excellent, and we especially enjoyed the outside seating area. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices including a full Scottish breakfast. The transportation options were convenient, with local buses nearby and easy access to both the old and new city.
