The property has a superb setting 5 minutes' drive from the Newquay Paignton Zoo, while natural sights like Goodrington Beach are 5 minutes away by car. Abbey Park is 3.4 km from the Cherwood Guest House Paignton and Exeter International airport is 50 km away.

The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The facilities provided were excellent. The location of the hotel was superb, as it was close to the town centre and everything else. The breakfast served was delicious and had a wide range of choices. The staff was friendly and provided exceptional customer service.
